The VicEmergency website was updated on 26 February 2016 to offer additional features and information to help Victorians better plan for an emergency.
The new features that appear on the Prepare and Get Ready section (www.emergency.vic.gov.au/prepare) now allow you to see visually on a map the type of emergencies that have previously occurred across Victoria.
This includes bushfire history over the past 50 years and flood likelihood over the past 100 years.
Other helpful emergency information has also been added to the map such as Fire Danger Ratings across the state, location of Neighbourhood Safer Places, CFA and MFB map boundaries, and planned burns history over the past 10 years.
